Adding the Integrated Label Invoices to Sage Instant Account Plus and Line 50
You can improve your order and invoice processing by using an invoice with removable address labels to attach to the customer's envelope or parcel.
The installation
provides 2 new invoices. These are designed to work with the Integrated Label
paper from http://www.integratedlabels.co.uk.
The new invoices are based on the standard Sage A4 Unit Price, With Discount
Invoice. The 2 invoices use 1 or 2 removable address labels. The single label
invoice prints an additional invoice address on the removable label. The 2 label
invoice prints additional invoice and delivery addresses.

Invoice with 2 removable address labels. The invoice is laid out so that if the 2 label paper with perforations is used the top part of the invoice can easily be removed. |
NOTE: In the 2008 onwards version the labels are at the bottom of the invoice.
Installing
the Sage Invoices
The installation
will automatically find Sage and put the new invoices into the required location(s).
Once installed you simply need to select the relevant invoice from the Invoice
Printing screen, shown below:
Troubleshooting
If the reports do
not appear in your list of available Invoices in the Invoice Printing
screen you restart Sage. If the list still does not appear you can use the following
procedure for manually copying the relevant files.
If using Sage
2004 to 2007
| 1 | Locate the installation directory. By default this is C:\IntegratedLabels\Sage. |
| 2 | Find the Layouts directory in your Sage installation. The main installation directory for Sage varies between versions. For example, the default directory for Sage Line 50 is C:\Program Files\Sage\Accounts. The Layouts directory is directly under the main installation path. For example, C:\Program Files\Sage\Accounts\Layouts. |
| 3 | Copy the INVDISA4_INT.sly and INVDISA4_INT2.sly files from the Integrated Labels installation directory to the Sage directory. In the examples given, this would be from C:\IntegratedLabels\Sage to C:\Program Files\Sage\Accounts\Layouts. |
| 4 | Restart Sage |
If using Sage 2008 onwards
| 1 | Locate the installation directory. By default this is C:\IntegratedLabelsd\Sage. |
| 2 | Find the Layouts directory in your Sage installation. The main installation directory for Sage varies between versions of Windows. For example, the default directory for Windows XP files is C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Sage\Accounts\2008\Company1\Layouts. |
| 3 | Copy the INVDISA4_INT.layout and INVDISA4_INT2.layout files from the Integrated Labels installation directory to the Sage directory. In the examples given, this would be from C:\IntegratedLabels\Sage to C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Sage\Accounts\2008\Company1\Layouts. |
| 4 |
For installations
on newer versions of Sage (e.g. 2009) the layouts maybe in other folders
(directories) C:\Documents and Settings\All Users For Vista: C:\ProgramData Then under Application data\Sage\Accounts\2009Instant\ Then under your accounts name (normally the name that you used when setting up the software), e.g. CompanyName Then Layouts |
| 4 | Restart Sage |
NOTE: If you are using a networked (multi-user) version of Sage you will
have to copy the 2 files to the server where the Sage data is opened from.
